The supporters of Trixande Fåglar BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sakarias Sefastsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Karl-Magnus Stålman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Wilhelm Rudkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trixande Fåglar BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Stålman in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Rudkvist in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Stålman in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trixande Fåglar BK's Sakarias Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakarias Sefastsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakarias Sefastsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Östen Askestät hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Magnus Stålman to make the kick off. A collision led to Trixande Fåglar BK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dan Rönn hit a great ball. With a little luck, Trixande Fåglar BK's Sakarias Sefastsson got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Karl-Magnus Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trixande Fåglar BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
