When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Alfonsi made a kick off. When Santino Seco fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Santino Seco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Mastache got free with Marcel Mallinger in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamilton Carvalhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Szüczs couldn't finish the play. FV Wienerwald's Célio Nogueira was substituted for Anfilogino Alfonsi. Per Nienhaus scored 4-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Marcel Mallinger managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Colombia's Ignacio Mastache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Nienhaus in the 93rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Nogueira in the 95th minute of play. Ralf Szüczs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere.
