Risca Faca IMT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Kevin Mastache came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Mastache couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Aparecido in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Risca Faca IMT were awarded a corner. Paulo Renato Prestes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Risca Faca IMT's Samuca Schmidt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Risca Faca IMT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boruc Plaski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Boruc Plaski in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Risca Faca IMT's Romário Aparecido got a free kick in the 35th minute. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boruc Plaski. Boruc Plaski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 38th match minute, Risca Faca IMT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Prestes came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Silviano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Risca Faca IMT. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paulo Renato Prestes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Romário Aparecido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Paulo Renato Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Risca Faca IMT got a freekick which was hit by Iker Silviano. In the 56th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Plaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário Aparecido got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Silviano in the 61st minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Pedro Augusto Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Romário Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Risca Faca IMT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Azevedo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Leopoldo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Risca Faca IMT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Renato Prestes in the 79th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gustavo de Azevedo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Paulo Renato Prestes sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Abram Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Plaski having to interfere. A collision led to Risca Faca IMT getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 庄升强 hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Prestes. When the match was over Risca Faca IMT could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Colombia throughout the match.
