After 4 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ФК Фанагория players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 9 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 10thth minute of the game Brent-Jan Turpin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ФК Фанагория were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Pelliccioni took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Hristiyan Tochev got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 12 minutes into the match. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent-Jan Turpin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Nunes saved ФК Фанагория from getting behind. Brent-Jan Turpin scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, ФК Фанагория's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brent-Jan Turpin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oleg Borgovski. Brent-Jan Turpin didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 40th minute. ФК Фанагория's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Brent-Jan Turpin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute, ФК Фанагория's Brent-Jan Turpin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Brent-Jan Turpin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Brent-Jan Turpin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Brent-Jan Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Turpin in the 77th minute of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brent-Jan Turpin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Brent-Jan Turpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brent-Jan Turpin took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oleg Borgovski in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Brent-Jan Turpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Borgovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Hristiyan Tochev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 96 played minutes ФК Фанагория got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pelliccioni. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent-Jan Turpin in the 99th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the ФК Фанагория players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
