Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Nueva Lepra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Pitin to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Eloy Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes of play, Nueva Lepra FC's Eloy Dominic made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute Ladislao Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 25 minutes in the game Celso Pitin got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Eloy Dominic tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nueva Lepra FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Stefan Augustyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Adrian Veto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Nueva Lepra FC's Ladislao Hibai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eloy Dominic sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Hibai was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Leonardo Tancredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 54th minute Eloy Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ladislao Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ladislao Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ladislao Hibai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Celso Pitin made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eloy Dominic. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 70th minute of play. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Eloy Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Jacobo Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Nueva Lepra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Nueva Lepra FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
