Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roar Klev having to interfere. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Blom in the 14th minute. Aron Blom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Aron Blom slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Mountainhammer United's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Roar Klev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roar Klev having to make a save. The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Aron Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Arne Back. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Olsman in the 37th minute of play. Roar Klev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. Aron Blom in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 44 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Claes Wall. After 45 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roar Klev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Back came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roar Klev, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Blom during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Aron Blom. In the 74th minute, Mountainhammer United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Roar Klev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Roar Klev made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mountainhammer United's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roar Klev came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mountainhammer United's Ludomil Bucyki got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Arne Back charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Back the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arne Back hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
