The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Agroboys SM - CIMZ's protests and gave Cléberson Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Cléberson Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Hoffmann in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valério Monteiro saved Agroboys SM - CIMZ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Paulinho Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 1-1. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Giuseppe Machado with Paulinho Moraes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Valério Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valério Monteiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Marco Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valério Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Valério Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Valério Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Régis Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Valério Monteiro made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Christian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valério Monteiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 93rd minute. The corner led to Honduras's Esteban Carvallo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agroboys SM - CIMZ the free kick. After 93 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agroboys SM - CIMZ throughout the match.
