Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Magnus Stålman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trixande Fåglar BK's goalkeeper Sakarias Sefastsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dan Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Göransson in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Karl-Magnus Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Rudkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilhelm Rudkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Karl-Magnus Stålman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Trixande Fåglar BK booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Karl-Magnus Stålman put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. The corner ended in Oskar Levander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Karl-Magnus Stålman took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 43 minutes into the match, Karl-Magnus Stålman notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Östen Askestät's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Östen Askestät helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Trixande Fåglar BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Andberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Karl-Magnus Stålman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Karl-Magnus Stålman had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Trixande Fåglar BK made a substitution. Ivar Ekrot replaced Ove Ferm. Trixande Fåglar BK's Joachim Hägglund was substituted for Dan Rönn. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Oskar Levander came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Trixande Fåglar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Levander couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Göransson in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute Karl-Magnus Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trixande Fåglar BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
