The KS Wierna Rzeka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The supporters of KS Wierna Rzeka booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Wierna Rzeka's Arkadiusz Kwinto was substituted for Cosimo Benvenuto. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anssi Hotakainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Ecuador players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KS Wierna Rzeka from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
