Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Santa Maradona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 6th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Cecilio Beltxe got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Transito in the 25th minute of play. Santa Maradona's Laureano Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Maradona's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Haroldo Martxot took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jonathan Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Transito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Rodolfo Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Miguel Transito sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Corneliu Văcăroiu hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Santa Maradona's Laureano Sustrai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 87th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Sustrai came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Maradona fully deserved thier win.
