Gregório Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Sarmiento. Desiderio Henric's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Henric helped the player get up and apologised. Desiderio Henric hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Neiva got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gregório Neiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Feng Cheng Ling came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Pascual Carballar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mira United FC's Rodolfo Pires quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 32nd minute of play. Gregório Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Gregório Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregório Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Mira United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feng Cheng Ling to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregório Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game Higinio Abar made a throw-in which Gregório Neiva played forward. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, one of Mira United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mira United FC. After a long run with the ball, Axel Montenegro did a trick in the 69th minute in front of Mira United FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by Colombia's Axel Montenegro! Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Abram Secada came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eriberto Bonadona could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 77th minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Gregório Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. After 83 minutes, Gregório Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mira United FC and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Mira United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mira United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
