In the 9th match minute, FokuMe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Şerbănoiu to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes of play, FokuMe's Pavel Ploieșteanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Uruguay booed when FokuMe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. FokuMe's Aurelian Răchitan was substituted for Eduard Drăgoescu. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. FokuMe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Maximiliano Escribano scored to the left of an out of position Emil Nae, making the score, 1-2. Emil Nae stood somewhat misplaced when Camilo Franco came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Emil Nae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 86th minute of the match.
