Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Clapham Comets F.C.'s Paul Mersø started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinnie Small was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vinnie Small was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Mersø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Paul Mersø who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 24 minutes, Jack Myers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clapham Comets F.C. and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Myers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Clapham Comets F.C.'s Paul Mersø in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Fabregas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Vinnie Small didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. The Clapham Comets F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57th play minutes Francisco Seco shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Vinnie Small and just under the crossbar into goal. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Martyn Lawson made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Mateo Garrido took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Vinnie Small to make any attempt to save it. Francesco Fabregas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Vinnie Small made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 75th minute. Vinnie Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 78th minute of play. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinnie Small made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinnie Small had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Vinnie Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Garrido in the 92nd minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Rosický in the 95th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Camilo Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinnie Small showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uruguay played a much better game than Clapham Comets F.C. and deserved their victory. The Clapham Comets F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
