The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Davinson Sánchez's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davinson Sánchez helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes AdanaSpor 2010 got a freekick which was hit by Davinson Sánchez. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, AdanaSpor 2010 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davinson Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Maura Icardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AdanaSpor 2010 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
