Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Cunea took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavius Ferenț was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavius Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavius Ferenț was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Rasnita's Alex Cunea. But to his dismay, Alex Cunea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Ferenț having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Sabin Ştercă got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute, Gigel Apăvăloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Toacsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Sebastian Toacsen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavius Ferenț made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Rasnita succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
