Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Mersø kicked off to start the match. In the 8th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Rosický to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinnie Small to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinnie Small. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Clapham Comets F.C.'s Paul Mersø in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Paul Mersø sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Barney Bzeu got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinnie Small was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinnie Small. Vinnie Small dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vinnie Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinnie Small made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 37th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Piers Maloney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Piers Maloney hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Daniel Zorita sped through Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinnie Small. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Paul Mersø put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Vinnie Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. Vinnie Small was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-6. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Vinnie Small had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. With his leg Vinnie Small managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vinnie Small tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 80 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Vinnie Small managed to make a qualified save. Clapham Comets F.C.'s players were relieved. Vinnie Small came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Small having to interfere. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vinnie Small proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Piers Maloney got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
