Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Júlio Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Colorado and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Dinamo Colorado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. In the 5th minute of the game, Uruguay got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After having played for 9 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Andres D'Alessandro came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Franco came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Inácio Marquez could save by the left post. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ruben Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Inácio Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres D'Alessandro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Paz in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Teixeira during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Rafa Teixeira got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinamo Colorado's Inácio Marquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Colorado from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Pinho was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Fernando Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Fernando Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Mesquita. Dinamo Colorado's Agnaldo Mazza was substituted for Fabiano de Godoi. Tarcisio Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Rafa Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 72nd minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Inácio Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Marquez having to interfere. Ruben Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 90th minute of play.
