In the 2nd match minute, Wy-pas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ace Ventura to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute, Ace Ventura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Wy-pas were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukasz Jaszynski took the corner. Sergio Irazabal made a great header on Wy-pas's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mevlüt Serin got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wincent Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mevlüt Serin sent off a good shot on target. Roch Mazierski struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wy-pas. Sergio Irazabal hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roch Mazierski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Mazierski in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Wy-pas's Mevlüt Serin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 55th minute, Sergio Irazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Jaszynski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Wy-pas's Ace Ventura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ace Ventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Piechocki in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Mazierski in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Wy-pas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Wy-pas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
