Eric Connor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Connor to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Denis Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Nico Cordero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Cipriano Gilabert scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute of the match, Cipriano Gilabert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Nico Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Gilabert in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ARLO FC's Denis Gipuzkoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Gipuzkoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rigoberto Michael fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARLO FC's protests and gave Rigoberto Michael a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes ARLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Michael. If Sebastian Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Kaķacis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ARLO FC's Pipis Kaķacis got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Gilabert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 91st minute Cipriano Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ARLO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
