Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Claus Pratter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Pratter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claus Pratter. Miguel Miralles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claus Pratter having to make a save. After 18th play minutes Tomas Berganza shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Claus Pratter and just under the crossbar into goal. FC Lugano's Claus Pratter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Lugano defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claus Pratter. The FC Lugano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claus Pratter should have stopped the shot. Claus Pratter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of play. FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthew Garrido, made in the 40th minute of the game. When Guido Emennegger fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lugano's protests and gave Guido Emennegger a yellow card for diving instead. Panama made a substitution. Alberto Sainz replaced Jose Carita. After some careless play in the FC Lugano defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claus Pratter. The FC Lugano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claus Pratter should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulric Donsante during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. The FC Lugano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-7.

In the 55th minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Pratter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Brennwald to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Berganza in the 57th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Claus Pratter kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Claus Pratter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of play. Claus Pratter was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-10. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Lugano's goalie and right to Miguel Miralles. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Lugano's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fidelio Haller hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alberto Sainz got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abraham Alguacil. Claus Pratter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of the match. Claus Pratter was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-12. 85 minutes into the match, FC Lugano's goalkeeper Claus Pratter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. Claus Pratter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claus Pratter came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidoro Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 88th minute. Tomas Berganza scored 0-14 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claus Pratter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gauthier Lepre kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
