After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. FC Jamala's Shi Bang Xiang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Jamala from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Martin in the 94th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Bang Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
