Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Yanko Pirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mauricio Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaizka Jaraba was slow to take the kick. During this time GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's players had a chance to rest. In the 25th match minute, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Furgat to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Mauricio Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yanko Pirov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Cristos Guijarro charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristos Guijarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristos Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Yanko Pirov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL.
