In the 6th minute, Aleksandar Ivanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Blue Angels fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Blue Angels's Alf Björk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Din Boll in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Angels's Patrik Skark. But to his dismay, Patrik Skark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Patrik Skark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Angels's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel-Enrique Comizzo came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a huge save. Joshua Garrido was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 44th minute Markus Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Blue Angels were winning 0-2.

Alf Björk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
