Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulinho Guedes started the match with the kick off. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Negri. Fabrício Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulinho Guedes got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 13th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Fabrício Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Vieira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Negri saved Dinamo Colorado from getting behind. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. Dinamo Colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Cristian Novaes got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Colorado's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Negri came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Fabrício Negri. Dinamo Colorado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Panama were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Harriet to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés de Azevedo came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Lamonica in the 70th minute of play. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Gerber in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rivaldo Dez in the 76th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes, Paulinho Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Colorado and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Guedes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dinamo Colorado getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paulinho Guedes hit a great ball. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabrício Negri firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Cezary Laba came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Laba couldn't finish the play. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
