Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, S.C. Reis United's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luisinho Trancoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elano Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Paulo Renato Trevisan got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Clóvis Nunes. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Elano Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Urbano. S.C. Reis United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Clóvis Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulo Urbano having to make a save. Paulo Renato Trevisan got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Clóvis Nunes. Clóvis Nunes made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. João Paulo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Clóvis Nunes in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 60th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Reis in the 61st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to S.C. Reis United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Clóvis Nunes hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Reis in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Negri came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henrique Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Henrique Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the S.C. Reis United defense, Moises Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Urbano. The S.C. Reis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Urbano should have stopped the shot. Amadeu Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
