Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alba FC's Donato Amatori started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Alba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Davide Conte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 51st minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Domenico Giocondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Vera. 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Di Donato during the 93rd minute.
