Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Armando Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Joris Scheer sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis León's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis León helped the player get up and apologised. Luis León hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bernardinho Abreu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Armando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joris Scheer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Scheer in the 29th minute. Armando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joris Scheer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Joris Scheer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joris Scheer made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Joris Scheer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Armando Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Armando Cerezo to make any attempt to save it. S.C.CHUÍ's Laércio Vieira was substituted for Caetano Paranaense. Laércio Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Armando Cerezo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Scheer in the 72nd minute of the match. Froilan Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.CHUÍ's Froilan Bartolome. But to his dismay, Froilan Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joris Scheer in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 83rd minute S.C.CHUÍ were awarded a corner. Elder Donatello went to the cornerflag to take it. 85 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Armando Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-3 to the left of a surprised Armando Cerezo 93 minutes into the match. The S.C.CHUÍ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
