Mariusz Mroczynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Igor Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brow Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Siekierski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Igor Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mariusz Mroczynski could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. In the 34th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Siekierski. Brow Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Tipinski. A well-hit corner resulted in Mariusz Mroczynski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerzy Ciempa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Brow Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Ciempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Brow Team's Franciszek Modliszewski was substituted for Bogumil Wawro. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Tipinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Igor Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Mariusz Mroczynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After having played for 60 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Tipinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. Czeslaw Tipinski took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. Zachary Wojno charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachary Wojno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zachary Wojno hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brow Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
