The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Berganza during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C.CHUÍ's Carlos Gamarra. After 18 minutes of play, S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis León in the 21st minute of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Armando Cerezo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Abreu came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Scheer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Joris Scheer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 47th minute of play.

After 54 minutes of play, S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla stood somewhat misplaced when Bernardinho Abreu came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 57 minute. In the 60th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Scheer in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Jonas Zanette replaced Adalberto Soeiro. Froilan Bartolome hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Bartolome in the 72nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joris Scheer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Scheer in the 79th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Froilan Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Joris Scheer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The S.C.CHUÍ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
