In the 7th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mänsur Rzayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Şamaxı Bankirlər was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Druțu Cristian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Mas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mänsur Rzayev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Oscar Mas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mänsur Rzayev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mänsur Rzayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Oscar Mas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Mas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense.

In the 61stth minute of the game Oscar Mas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Mas went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Oscar Mas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Oscar Mas took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mänsur Rzayev having to interfere. A collision led to Şamaxı Bankirlər getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Druțu Cristian hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Mas in the 82nd minute of the match. Juan Badr scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes in the game Alex Chicote did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Costa. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
