Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Wawro in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goalkeeper Igor Siekierski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Siekierski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Brow Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Witwicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Igor Siekierski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Igor Siekierski came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Mariusz Mroczynski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brow Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Siekierski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute Mariusz Mroczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Modliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Mariusz Mroczynski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 79 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Siekierski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. Igor Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Fontirroig in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Igor Siekierski. Brow Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Mroczynski in the 96th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
