Vali Armanca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlashers's Vali Armanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Chicote in the 18th minute of play. Vali Armanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Fernandino in the 19th minute. Vali Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Mario Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Vali Armanca. Vlashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vlashers's Vali Armanca. Vali Armanca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilian Vaida charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilian Vaida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Vlashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Vaida to maneuver through the defense. Vlashers's Vali Armanca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Vlashers from getting a goal against them. Vali Armanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 36th minute. Mario Fernandino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Vali Armanca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 46th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Fernandino came free, but Vali Armanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vali Armanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Ferrant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vali Armanca was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ismael Tejedor made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vlashers's David Tudose. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
