Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fabian Lundberg made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Birger Øvstebø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Birger Øvstebø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elton John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Elton John didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 12 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Elton John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elton John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doctor Potass fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheeky Nuts United's protests and gave Doctor Potass a yellow card for diving instead. Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Elton John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doctor Potass didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Elton John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes Cheeky Nuts United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Jon-Erik Vedøy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elton John. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Stathis Konstantakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Elton John in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cheeky Nuts United made a substitution. Henrik Rakvåg replaced Lukas Grønnestad. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Fabian Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheeky Nuts United's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Lundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elton John, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stathis Konstantakis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cheeky Nuts United's Elton John. Elton John was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Elton John however easily saved by the left post. When Jon-Erik Vedøy came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cheeky Nuts United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon-Erik Vedøy couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador played a much better game than Cheeky Nuts United and deserved their victory. The Cheeky Nuts United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
