In the 3rd match minute, Vlashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Domenghini to maneuver through the defense. Marius Levința scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Cosor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Nechifor Cosor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Vlashers's Dorel Petcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Nechifor Cosor put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. 34 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Levința came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Vlashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Moșanu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vlashers's zone, Mario Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pauli Palander came out of the goal and Mario Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Demetrio Domenghini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pauli Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vlashers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Fernandino was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolivia's players had a chance to rest. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pauli Palander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 46th minute Ernest Mareș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Marius Levința made the kick off in the second half. 0-4 became the score in the 68th minute when Nechifor Cosor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Levința's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Vlashers's Romeo Giurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Giurăscu in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Benito Madrid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Levința in the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Vlashers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bolivia.
