Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Staikos in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Staikos came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match, Loukianos Staikos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Mastache scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thorsten Ternes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santino Seco in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thorsten Ternes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thorsten Ternes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rodrigo Ferdinand did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Pedro Manzanares 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Tibor Bäuschlein tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Loukianos Staikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Loukianos Staikos might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loukianos Staikos ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Staikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Percival Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Percival Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Costa in the 81st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Percival Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Mastache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thorsten Ternes was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Rodrigo Ferdinand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot.
