Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Koti Kot scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-0. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koti Kot in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Koti Kot sent off a good shot on target. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kudret Tüzer sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The wind increased when Koti Kot made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerzy Mielak in the 55 minute of the game. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arkadiusz Barciniak made a huge save. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arkadiusz Barciniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 66th minute. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Daniel Houseman replaced Kudret Tüzer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Houseman in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Arkadiusz Barciniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Houseman in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Daniel Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Dawid Kazimierz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dawid Kazimierz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Thunderstorm Riders's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Barciniak came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafael Gallo 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
