In the last second Richard Mühsam throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julian Murillo in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 19 minutes FC Germania München's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Alonso Berganza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Efraim Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Mühsam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Richard Mühsam managed to make a qualified save. FC Germania München's players were relieved. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Rechkemmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karsten Zentner was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Mühsam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
