Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 7th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorsten Ternes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Rodrigo Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lionel 柯景亦, made in the 13th minute of the game. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thorsten Ternes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibor Bäuschlein. Thorsten Ternes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thorsten Ternes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorsten Ternes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Bäuschlein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Ferdinand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Ferdinand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Peru got a corner. International Thunders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Eliseo Mina drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind International Thunders's goalkeeper. In the 59th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Nichifor Borăscu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lionel 柯景亦 in the 65 minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, International Thunders's Tibor Bäuschlein made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! International Thunders's Percival Costa was substituted for Loukianos Staikos. 74 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorsten Ternes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 76th minute of play. Lionel 柯景亦 made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 冯亦思 however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Thorsten Ternes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thorsten Ternes. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 95th minute of the game Lionel 柯景亦 made a throw-in which 冯亦思 played forward. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
