An unexpectedly hard shot by Kudret Tüzer in the 4th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Barciniak saved Thunderstorm Riders from getting behind. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koti Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Mielak in the 11th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Resel in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arkadiusz Barciniak, 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Koti Kot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koti Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arkadiusz Barciniak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 42 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koti Kot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Barciniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koti Kot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Joaquin Prats put in a rough tackle. Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Koti Kot:s penalty. Arkadiusz Barciniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 72nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Almir Lago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-2 in the 76 minute of play. Daniel Houseman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 97th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Mielak to maneuver through the defense.
