When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Celsinho Perez took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. When Herberto Ribas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Herberto Ribas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Ribas to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Kevin Mastache suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Herberto Ribas was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Colombia's Israel Elvira was substituted for Kevin Mastache. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Herberto Ribas got a free kick in the 99th minute. The Colombia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ADM Taquaras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
