Richard Mühsam came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raitis Porītis in the 6th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bastian Schweinsteiger in the 8 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Kasper Rechkemmer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kasper Rechkemmer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bastian Schweinsteiger made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Gunther Andromidas replaced Codrin Peter. 90 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Tenorio. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
