Bengt Göransson's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Rudkvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 82 minutes, Joachim Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trixande Fåglar BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Hägglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trixande Fåglar BK's Sakarias Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 89th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Noboa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sakarias Sefastsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilhelm Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trixande Fåglar BK the free kick. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
