In the 6th minute Giro Campomanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Giro Campomanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giro Campomanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Yanko Pirov got in the way and made a wonderful save. 12 minutes into the match, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goalkeeper Yanko Pirov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. After 17 minutes of play, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Mauricio Moreno made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Yanko Pirov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Mauricio Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Yanko Pirov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Moreno scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 played minutes GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Moreno. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Yanko Pirov made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Pirov came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanko Pirov. After the first half GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
52 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yanko Pirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Giro Campomanes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-4 after 54 minutes of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Yanko Pirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Campomanes in the 68th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil scored 2-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yanko Pirov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giro Campomanes in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Wincent Furgat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-5 after 82 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Yanko Pirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Olmos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 96th minute of play forced GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goalkeeper Yanko Pirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giro Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
