Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Sacando del Medio booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bernardo Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Artemio Odol sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. Artemio Odol in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Loren was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play forced Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacando del Medio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristobal Kelemen in the 75th minute. The corner led Sacando del Medio's Cristobal Kelemen to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bernardo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Sacando del Medio's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Artemio Odol struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacando del Medio. Dionisio Gonsalvo lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 92nd minute, Dionisio Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita got in the 93rd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Bernardo Loren. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-3. Eulalio Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
