Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Méndez Marfa. Méndez Marfa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gilberto Jakobe took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Lealtad Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Gilberto Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gilberto Jakobe sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Méndez Marfa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 minutes of play, Lealtad Futbol Club's Gilberto Jakobe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Lealtad Futbol Club's Gilberto Jakobe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Méndez Marfa however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Méndez Marfa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Liu Chuan Cheng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lealtad Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 73 played minutes Lealtad Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Liu Chuan Cheng. In the 74th minute, Liu Chuan Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 81 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Méndez Marfa managed to make a qualified save. Lealtad Futbol Club's players were relieved. A collision led to Lealtad Futbol Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Roman Olaverrieta hit a great ball. Méndez Marfa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Méndez Marfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Toro Martínez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Lealtad Futbol Club's Méndez Marfa got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lealtad Futbol Club had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
