After a defensive mix-up in Cheeky Nuts United's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Hagberg came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodor Selnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Philippe Ambroise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ragnar Hagberg. Cheeky Nuts United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philippe Ambroise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragnar Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Rodney Emmanuel with Raymond Louis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 25th minute, Kjartan Nyhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Felix Dorval threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cheeky Nuts United's Hauk Horne quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 30th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Ragnar Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernso Constant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Hagberg having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Ernso Constant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haiti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The throw-in from Jean Marie Alcius in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cheeky Nuts United's Hauk Horne. The long shot by Philippe Ambroise in the 45th minute really tested Ragnar Hagberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Cheeky Nuts United's Ragnar Hagberg got control of the ball when Jonathan Alphonse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Alphonse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gesner Philippe made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernso Constant. Jonathan Alphonse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernso Constant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Jonathan Alphonse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Haiti's Ernso Constant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ragnar Hagberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Haiti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
