Piquirenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Robustiano Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Robustiano Aznaro threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Piquirenda FC's Robustiano Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Robustiano Aznaro. Robustiano Aznaro was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Luca Espinar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robustiano Aznaro, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Aznaro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ciriaco Mendebal hit a great ball. Robustiano Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Sebastian Villa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robustiano Aznaro. The goal made the score 5-0. Piquirenda FC's Robustiano Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Piquirenda FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Luca Espinar made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Aznaro. Piquirenda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Robustiano Aznaro was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Piquirenda FC's Robustiano Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Robustiano Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Robustiano Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Honduras's Luca Espinar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Aznaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After some careless play in the Piquirenda FC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Aznaro. The Piquirenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Aznaro should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Milagros Cabal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Aznaro saved Piquirenda FC from getting behind. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Endira hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Piquirenda FC defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Aznaro. The Piquirenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Aznaro should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Aznaro. Robustiano Aznaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Ivan Navarro made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sebastian Villa however managed to control. Edmundo Espiga scored 16-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Aznaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Robustiano Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 18-0. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
