Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. João Francisco Furtado scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson dos Santos in the 10th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Romeu Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós. But to his dismay, Bebeto Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Planet Caravan's Gilvan Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson dos Santos in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bebeto Queirós sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Mendonça in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Planet Caravan's Anísio Saraiva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Bebeto Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Quirino came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Bebeto Queirós put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bebeto Queirós sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes Hudson dos Santos rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of play forced Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Romeu Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Planet Caravan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Valdomiro Macedo made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by João Francisco Furtado. Planet Caravan played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
