Joshua Curbelo made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jesus Carvallo. Oscar Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Fernandino's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Rubio, made in the 46th minute of the game. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Abeluse Flow players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Macerio Griego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jorge Magrina hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Abeluse Flow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Adán to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Maldonado. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Abeluse Flow's zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Maldonado came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Abeluse Flow's Oscar Maldonado got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, El Salvador's Abram Luque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Maldonado. Oscar Maldonado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, Abeluse Flow's Oscar Maldonado got control of the ball when Abram Luque tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Carvallo in the 92nd minute of play forced Abeluse Flow's goalkeeper Oscar Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Carvallo in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 96th minute.
