In the 16th minute Allan Malmström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team Rocco's Sebastian Nordlund got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Vincent Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Olofsson made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Unesson in the 75th minute of play. Göran Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Team Rocco's Göran Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Allan Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Rocco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Malmström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vincent Olofsson went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Team Rocco's Ralf Vase shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Rocco reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Olofsson in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. There was no doubt that Team Rocco were the better team. Team Rocco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
